These terms apply to the AssoLinks app and to the assolinks.com website. By creating an account, you accept them. They should be read together with the privacy policy and the child safety standards, which form part of them.
1. Who publishes AssoLinks?
AssoLinks is published by HTIC Networks, a company based in Abidjan, Cocody Riviera Abatta, Côte d’Ivoire. Contact: [email protected].
2. The service
AssoLinks helps associations, clubs and communities organise their community life: members, sections, events, news, membership dues, files and messages. Each association has its own walled-off space, reserved for its members.
3. Who can use AssoLinks?
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher age required by the law of your country. If you are under 18, your parents or legal guardian must have read these terms.
4. Your account
- The information you provide must be accurate.
- You are responsible for what is done from your account: keep your password confidential.
- You can delete your account at any time, from the app or as explained on the Delete your account page.
5. Associations and their officers
- An association joins AssoLinks through its officers, who declare that they act on its behalf and with its agreement.
- The association decides what it publishes and its visibility rules. Its officers (president, secretary, treasurer, section leads…) have the permissions attached to their role, which the association can adjust with the Pro plan.
- Officers use members’ data only to run the association and its activities.
6. Rules of conduct
On AssoLinks, you may not publish, send or share:
- illegal, hateful, violent, harassing or discriminatory content;
- any content that sexualises or exploits minors: see the child safety standards;
- content that infringes the privacy or rights of others, including copyright;
- unsolicited messages, scams or malware.
You may not try to access the data of an association you are not a member of, or disrupt the service.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you publish. You authorise HTIC Networks to host it and display it to the people you intend it for, for as long as the service requires. Photos and documents submitted by members are published once approved by the association.
8. Reporting and moderation
- You can report content or a user in the app, with a long press then Report, or by writing to [email protected].
- You can also block a user.
- Every report is reviewed within 24 hours. Content that breaches these terms is removed, and its author may be suspended or excluded.
9. Membership dues
AssoLinks lets an association present its membership dues, and its treasurer record and approve payments. AssoLinks processes no dues payment and stores no card data. Financial matters between a member and their association concern only them.
10. Plans for associations
The app is free for members. An association can use the Discovery plan free of charge up to 100 members. Paid plans, their prices and their limits are shown on the Pricing page; their subscription terms will be provided before any payment.
11. Announcements
The Discovery plan may display sponsored announcements, labelled as such. They are the same for all members of an association and are not based on your data.
12. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the service available and secure, but we cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted. HTIC Networks is not responsible for content published by members or associations, nor for relations between an association and its members. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using AssoLinks and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that does not comply with these terms, after informing you, except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise.
14. Changes
These terms may change. If we make a significant change, we will let you know in the app before it takes effect.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Côte d’Ivoire. If you live in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. In case of disagreement, please write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution.
