Option 1 · the quickest

From the app

Open AssoLinks and sign in.
Go to Profile.
Tap Delete my account, then confirm.

If you chair an association that has other members, the app asks what happens to your presidency: you choose your successor, you leave it to the automatic transfer (vice-president, secretary, treasurer, then the longest-standing member), or you close the association. If you are its only member, it is closed.

Option 2 · without the app

By email

If you no longer have access to the app, write to [email protected] from your account email address, with the subject “AssoLinks account deletion”. We will confirm the deletion by email.

What is deleted

your account and profile: name, email, phone, occupation, links, photo;
your association memberships, roles and preferences;
your sessions and notification tokens;
your messages;
the photos and documents you shared.

If you signed in with Apple, the authorisation granted to AssoLinks is also revoked with Apple.

Timeframe

Your account is permanently deleted 15 days after your request. As soon as you request it, you are signed out of all your devices. During these 15 days, you can cancel by signing in again: your account goes back exactly as it was. The choice made for your presidency only applies at the end of this period.

What is kept

Content published in an association (news posts, comments): it is anonymised and shown as “Former member” when deleting it would make conversations hard to follow.
Dues history: anonymised, so the association keeps consistent accounting records.
Technical security logs: 12 months at most.
