AssoLinks is an app for associations, clubs and communities, open to people aged 13 and over. HTIC Networks, the publisher of AssoLinks, applies a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation.
What is prohibited
On AssoLinks, in messages, comments, posts, photos and documents, it is strictly prohibited:
- to publish, share, request or keep child sexual abuse material;
- to solicit a minor for sexual purposes, or to build a relationship with a minor for that purpose (grooming);
- to sexualise a minor, including through images, texts or drawings;
- to blackmail or threaten a minor, in particular with intimate images;
- to facilitate the trafficking or exploitation of minors.
These rules apply to all users, in every association.
How to report
- In the app: long-press a message, a comment, a file or a user’s profile, then tap Report.
- By email: [email protected], with the subject “Child safety”. If possible, include the name of the association concerned and a description of the content, without copying or forwarding it.
If a child is in immediate danger, first contact the emergency services of your country.
What we do
As soon as we become aware of such content or behaviour:
- we remove the content and suspend the account or accounts concerned;
- we keep the information needed for the investigation, within the limits set by law;
- we report the facts to the competent authorities. These may be the Plateforme de Lutte Contre la Cybercriminalité (PLCC, the national cybercrime unit) in Côte d’Ivoire, the PHAROS platform in France, or the CyberTipline of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We then cooperate with these authorities.
Reports related to child safety are handled as a priority, within 24 hours at most.
